Description
Application instructions
Wet the surface, until saturation. In this process some loose paint will disappear. Cover sensitive surfaces and vegetation, fence off worksite area. Apply BPS 7150 GEL with a brush or roller. The dwelling time depends on the temperature, age of paint, number of layers and surface structure. The dissolving time varies between 2-48 hrs. At low temperatures below 5°C, the time will be longer. BPS 7150 GEL stops acting if it dries out. Can be reactivated with a spray of water or steam.
Rinsing off
The dissolved paint is washed off with high pressure and hot water (90°C). Adjust the pressure to the surface. A fan nozzle achieves the best result when rinsing it off. Rinse from bottom to top. Always work from cleaned area towards dissolved paint. When the whole surface has been cleaned, rinse from top to bottom.
NB! When working with wooden surfaces, the safe distance between nozzle and surface should be at least 20 cm.
Neutralising
Immediately after completed paint removal, the surface must be neutralised with a light acidic product e.g. (BPS 7315). Let the surface dry for 1-3 days. pH value is then measured. (pH shall after neutralising be around 9). If not, repeat the neutralising process.
NB! Neutralising must always be done if the surface is to be re-painted.
Dosage
Use as concentrate.
Consumption
The consumption is depending on surface structure, thickness of paint and number of layers. Normal usage is approx.0,5-1,0 litre m², but sometimes, 2.0 litre/m² can be required.
Storage
Store frost free in original container.
Shelf life
24 months in unopened container.
